Our Programs & Services

ABDI serves the vulnerable groups – women, children, and youth in rural communities through comprehensive interventions.

Health Interventions

We focus on diseases that disproportionately affect the poor, such as Malaria, Tuberculosis, and HIV/AIDS. Our activities are encompassing:

  • Community mobilization to generate demand for services.
  • Community-based capacity building.
  • Strengthening linkages between service delivery points and beneficiaries.

Public-Private Mix (PPM) Strategy: Our strength lies in the PPM strategy in TB control programming, community active TB case finding, referrals, and HIV/AIDS HTS interventions in unconventional settings.

Good Governance

Through targeted activities we have been able to build the capacity of Political Office Holders, Program Managers of MDAs and Community Leaders.

Our goal is to assist them in delivering evidence-based leadership dividends and most importantly, to own and support various development initiatives.

Gender & Social Inclusion (GESI)

We link vulnerable groups to income-generating opportunities and skill-building activities to enhance their socioeconomic development growth which enhances their overall health status.

Women are also a huge epicenter of our intervention ecosystem as many hard-to-reach rural women in Ebonyi State lack access to health services.
